Privacy information
Last updated: November 3, 2026
AI Skills Finder (aiskillsfinder.com) is an independent online directory of AI skills, MCP servers and related development resources. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be handled when you use the website.
1. Data controller and contact
Website operator: Ai Skills Finder
Privacy contact: info@aiskillsfinder.com
2. Data processed when you visit
When you open this website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, requested URLs, browser and device information, and technical errors. This is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its security, troubleshoot problems and prevent abuse. Server logs may be retained in accordance with the hosting provider's configuration and applicable requirements.
You can search and browse the public directory without registering or creating an account. The application does not intentionally store public search queries in its own database; requests may nevertheless be included in ordinary server logs.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The public directory does not require a user account. A necessary session cookie is used for access to the administrator area, where applicable. If optional services such as advertising are enabled, they may use cookies or similar technologies as described below.
4. Google AdSense advertising
Google AdSense advertising is currently disabled in the website settings. If advertising is enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may process data, including cookies and similar identifiers, according to applicable legal requirements and consent choices.
For more information, see How Google uses information for advertising and Google Privacy Policy.
5. External links
The directory contains links to independent third-party websites and public repositories, including GitHub. When you follow an external link, the destination website may collect data under its own privacy policy. AI Skills Finder does not control those websites.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Technical data needed to provide the site and keep it secure is processed on the basis of the operator's legitimate interests in providing a functioning and secure service, where applicable (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Data necessary to comply with legal obligations is processed under Article 6(1)(c). Where consent is required for optional technologies, it is processed on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a)) and the relevant ePrivacy rules.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Technical data may be handled by the website's hosting and infrastructure providers. If advertising is enabled, Google and its relevant advertising partners may receive data as explained in their policies. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards applicable to those transfers.
8. Data retention
Technical logs are kept only for as long as necessary for service delivery, troubleshooting, security and applicable legal obligations. Retention periods depend on the hosting setup. Administrator sessions end when the session expires or is terminated. Third-party services apply their own retention policies.
9. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and obtain data portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise your rights, contact the operator using the email above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your competent data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website's functions, service providers or applicable requirements change. The date at the top indicates the latest revision.
